About My Journey
My journey to becoming a Registered Psychotherapist has been a lifelong evolution driven by a deep passion for healing and personal growth. I began my career as a Registered Massage Therapist, knowing from a young age that I wanted to work in a therapeutic, people-centered environment. Through my work, I quickly realized the profound connection between physical pain and emotional trauma. This insight sparked my desire to understand the intricate relationship between mind, body, and spirit.
My exploration into holistic practices began with studying chakras, vibrational healing, and energetic therapies. I immersed myself in meditation, mindfulness, and spiritual studies, all of which eventually led me to pursue formal training in Spiritual/Transpersonal Psychotherapy. Alongside this, I embarked on my own transformative journey through personal therapy, which became a catalyst for profound self-discovery.
A pivotal part of my path has been integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS), not only as a therapeutic approach for my clients but also as a powerful tool for my own healing. Learning about my ADHD system has been equally transformative, offering clarity and strength both personally and professionally. Understanding how our internal systems work—whether shaped by neurodiversity, trauma, or life experiences—has deepened my empathy and effectiveness as a therapist.
I am continually inspired by the courage it takes to embark on a journey of healing and self-awareness. Through my personal therapy, ongoing clinical supervision, and work with clients, I have witnessed the profound shifts that can occur when we embrace the whole self—mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I believe true health encompasses far more than the physical body; it is about nurturing the mind, spirit, and emotions. Our deepest humanity resides in our spirit, and that is where true healing begins.
